Can Sudanese citizens get a visa on arrival in Uganda?
Unfortunately, Sudanese citizens cannot get a visa on arrival in Uganda. In 2016, the Government of Uganda launched electronic visas (e-visa) to simplify the visa processing system for travelers requiring visas from eligible countries. As a result, Sudanese individuals planning to visit Uganda now can apply for an Uganda visa online prior to their journey, as visas are no longer issued upon arrival in the country. This new process ensures a more efficient and organized visa application procedure for prospective travelers to Uganda.
Moreover, with the e-visa system, applicants now do not require to visit the embassy for visa application. The process now takes place entirely online, and it generally takes less than 20 minutes to complete. Visit Uganda Immigration Services to begin.
