Cook Islanders citizens REQUIRE a visa before traveling to Uganda. Cook Island citizens can request one of the three (03) Uganda visa types below:

  • Uganda Transit Visa - The transit visa is issued for Cook Islanders travelers who only pass through Uganda to another destination. This visa allows travelers to stay in Uganda for up to 07 days while waiting for the next flight. This is a single-entry visa and cannot be extended.
  • Uganda e-Tourist Visa - Cook Islanders citizens can request this type of visa if they plan to travel to Uganda for vacation, or leisure. This type of visa is valid for 03 months from the issued date. Its holder can enter Uganda only once, and stay there for 90 days (3 months) from the arrival date.
  • Uganda East Africa Visa - If Cook Islanders want to expand their exploration further to surrounding countries, the East Africa visa allows them to travel to Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda simultaneously. This is a type of tourist visa as well, they can only engage in tourist activities in these countries. With an Uganda East Africa visa, Cook Islander travelers can visit three countries multiple times within the validity period of their visa and stay there for up to 90 days in total.
