Greek citizens can apply for a Uganda e-visa online, offering a faster and more convenient alternative to the traditional visa application process at the Embassy. Uganda Immigration Services provides a convenient platform, allowing Greek travelers to complete the application form in under 20 minutes.

The application process is straightforward and involves 3 simple steps:

• Step 1: Select "Apply Visa" and enter your personal information and passport details.
• Step 2: Choose the payment method: wire transfer through the Bank of Cyprus or electronic payment using credit/debit cards.
• Step 3: Receive confirmation and the e-visa via email, ensuring to print at least one copy before arriving at the Immigration checkpoint.
• Step 4: Once submitted, you may track your application daily by using “Check Status,” providing the application reference number.

Since 2016, the Uganda government has introduced an easy-to-use online application form for e-visas, benefiting more than 200 eligible countries. At present, Uganda Immigration Services offers three types of e-visas for Greek citizens:

The Government fees and Service fees are REQUIRED to proceed with the visa application. Furthermore, the Government fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome. 

The processing time for a Uganda e-Visa varies based on factors such as the visa type and application volume during working hours. Typically, e-visas expedite the application process compared to traditional methods. The standard processing takes around 3 to 5 business days. However, applicants may select the Rush Visa service with options for expedited processing:

- Standard processing: The most affordable option with a three-business-day processing time, costing $69.

- Urgent processing: Guaranteeing a maximum 48-hour processing time for $79.

- Super-Urgent processing: Providing results in approximately 24 business hours for a fee of $99.

Greek citizens applying for a Uganda e-visa are NOT ALLOWED to participate in employment activities during their stay in Uganda. Regardless, the kinds of work permissible under the e-visa are limited.

Individuals holding an e-visa have the right to participate in the following activities, as stated in Uganda's immigration policies:
