What is the duration of stay in Uganda with an e-visa for Congolese citizens?

Congolese visitors with e-visas are generally allowed to stay in Uganda for up to 90 days (03 months). To guarantee compliance with the anticipated stay period, it is important to select a suitable visa type that corresponds to the purpose of the trip.

  • Tourist e-Visa: This single-entry visa caters to tourism purposes, allowing Congolese travelers a 90-day (3 months) stay in Uganda.
  • East Africa e-Visa: This visa covers tourism and enables Congolese travelers to visit Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda as often as desired within a 90-day stay. The East Africa e-visa grants multiple entries.
  • Transit e-Visa: This type of visa grants Congolese travelers a transit period of up to 7 days in Uganda.

Do note that Uganda eVisas grants entry for tourism and short-term visits in the country only, therefore working while holding an eVisa is strictly forbidden.
