What should I do if I am having technical difficulties submitting my application?
We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, especially during an important application process. Do not worry in case you are experiencing problems. If you’re experiencing technical issues while submitting your Uganda eVisa application, follow these steps:
1. Check your internet connection
Make sure you are connected to the Internet. You can restart your router or change to a different network. In some cases, a poor or shaky connection may break the submission process.
2. Use a recommended browser
Our application system would go best when using updated versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge. Outdated browsers or Internet explorers should also be evaded since they might not be entirely compatible.
3. Clear cache and cookies
Temporary files kept in your browser may affect the functioning of internet systems. Then clear your browser cache and cookies and after browsing the application page again, check whether the problem is fixed.
4. Disable browser extensions
Certain browser extensions, particularly advert blockers or script blockers, or privacy tools, can cause some disturbance to the application form. Attempt to turn off these extensions or open incognito/a private browsing window.
5. Ensure all required fields are completed
Ensure all the required fields in the application form are complete again. If any required field is incomplete or filled incorrectly, the form may fail to submit.
6. Try a different device
If the issue persists, please consider applying on a different device (e.g. a different computer, tablet or smartphone).
7. Take screenshots of the error
Take a screenshot in case you notice any severe fault messages or in case the page is frozen. This will assist the technical support team in diagnosing in less time.
8. Contact technical support or application helpdesk
If none of the above steps work, contact our support team as soon as possible. Include the following in your message to help expedite assistance:
- A clear description of the issue
- Any error messages you received
- Your browser and operating system
- Screenshots (if possible)
- The time and date you attempted submission
You can reach us at: [email protected]
9. Don't worry – Support options are available
Assuming your deadline is missed due to some technical reason, send us a message as soon as you grasp it. We know that technical problems are not default on your part and we would perhaps be able to extend the grace period or alternative submission mode (e.g. by email based submission) on a case to case basis.
