How Long Does It Take To Obtain A Uganda Visa?

In comparison to a regular visa, British travelers can obtain an e-visa for Uganda within three (03) working days. E-visa processing can help you save time and money. The Ugandan government introduced the ETA in 2016 to simplify the process of getting a visa for Uganda.

British citizens can apply for an e-visa to Uganda from anywhere using a tablet, computer, or smartphone. At Uganda Immigration Services, we handle the entire procedure online, from filling out the application form to paying the visa fee and providing supporting papers.

An Uganda e-visa may typically be issued in one to three business days. However, if you do not have the desire to wait and need to travel quickly, you may select the following Rush Visa service.

  • Standard service: Basic service with a turnaround time of 03 business days.
  • Urgent service: You will obtain your visa within 48 hours if you choose this option. The additional fee for this service is $79.
  • Super-Urgent service: When you select super-urgent service, your visa will be sent to you within 24 hours. The additional service price is $99.
