I'm having problems paying e-visa fees online. Can I pay when I arrive in the country?
It's important to note that the visa application fee must be paid online, and paying upon arrival in the country is generally not acceptable. The Uganda Immigration Services has established an online visa application system to streamline the process and enhance efficiency and security. This means that the payment for the e-visa fee must be made through our online portal during the application process, and the e-visa will only be issued once the fees have been successfully processed.
To resolve the payment issue, you may consider the following steps:
-
Check your payment service: Ensure that you are using a valid and accepted payment method, such as a credit or debit card, to make the payment. Verify that your card is authorized for online international transactions.
-
Contact Customer Support: Reach out to our customer assistance if you have any issues. Our team will assist you in resolving any technical issues related to the payment process.
Applicants are required to pay two types of fees: the Government fee and the Service fee. Paying the e-visa fee online is typically the only method to secure your visa for Uganda, and failure to complete the payment online may result in a denied visa application.
