Uganda PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated travelers
All inbound and outbound fully vaccinated travelers will be free from the negative Covid-19 PCR test in Uganda airport, ports, or land borders. Travelers who are fully vaccinated will show the evidence of finishing the Covid 19 vaccination on arrival instead.
Children who are under the age of 6 will also be exempted from the Uganda PCR test whether they are fully vaccinated or not.
Uganda PCR test requirement for not fully vaccinated travelers
Travelers who are above the age of 6 and not fully vaccinated are required to take documents of a negative Covid-19 PCR test to Uganda that is done for up to 72 hours before departure on arrival.
Temperature checks will be conducted by the Port Health authorities for all passengers as soon as they arrive. If any traveler's temperature is different from normal or any symptoms of Covid 19 they may be required to take a PCR test in Uganda. Unfortunately, the result is positive for Covid-19, and travelers will be in the isolation and treatment process in the Uganda regulations.
Uganda PCR test requirement for transit
Travelers who are going to transit in this country to take their next flight to another country need to know some Uganda PCR test requirements. Whether they stay in a hotel or airport, they have to provide evidence of completing Covid-19 vaccination or a negative Covid-19 PCR test ( which is done no more than 72 hours).
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 06 months from the date of entry into Uganda.
It also has 02 or more blank pages to receive the stamps when entering or leaving Uganda.
