What documents do Australians need to travel to Uganda?

Travel document requirements for Uganda may change over time, so it's essential to double-check the latest information before your trip. Below are the general travel document requirements for the Uganda e-visa: 

• Passport: A valid passport with at least six months validity starting from the intended arrival date in Uganda. Additionally, the passport must have at least a blank page for visa stamping purposes. 
• e-Visa application: Depending on the purpose of travel, Australians need to apply for the appropriate eVisa type (tourist evisa, east Africa evisa, transit evisa).
• A passport-sized photograph: A recent passport-sized photo meeting the specified requirements, a photo on a white background, showing the applicant's face clearly for identification purposes.
• Flight schedule: A confirmed round-trip or onward flight itinerary to demonstrate your intended entry and exit from Uganda.
• Proof of Accommodation (If applicable): Evidence of your accommodation arrangements during your stay in Uganda, such as hotel reservations or a letter of invitation from a host.
• Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate: A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is REQUIRED for entry into Uganda. This vaccination is recommended for your health and the prevention of disease transmission.
