Is a Uganda e-visa valid for single or multiple entries?
Hungarian citizens planning to visit Uganda must obtain a visa for entry. Visitors holding an e-visa can enjoy a maximum stay of 90 days with Tourist eVisa and East Africa eVisa. Should a Hungarian citizen leave Uganda during their authorized stay, they must apply for a new visa for re-entry. Uganda Immigration Services provides 3 types of Uganda e-Visa to Hungarian nationals:
- Tourist e-Visa: Allows entry for tourism purposes, valid for up to 90 days as a single-entry visa, with no extension option.
- East Africa e-Visa: Grants multiple entries into Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for 90 days, exclusively for tourism purposes, and cannot be extended.
- Transit e-Visa: Permits a 7-day stay in Uganda during transit to the next destination, and this visa cannot be extended.
If a Hungarian citizen requires a stay in Uganda exceeding 90 days, they must contact and consult with the official Uganda authorities before the expiration date.
