Here are the typical validity periods for different types of e-Visas:
- Tourist e-Visa: The validity of a tourist e-Visa is usually 90 days from the date of issue. During this period, the visa holder can make one entry into Uganda for tourism purposes. Each entry is typically allowed for a maximum duration of stay of up to 90 days.
- East Africa e-Visa: The validity of an East Africa e-Visa is issued for a period of 90 days. Within this validity period, the visa holder can make multiple entries for tourism-related activities. The duration of stay allowed for this visa is within 90 days from the arrival date
- Transit e-Visa: The validity of a transit e-Visa is 90 days from the date of its issuance, and you can stay here for a period of 7 days. This visa allows the holder to transit through Uganda to reach their final destination.
It's important to note that the validity and duration of stay are different, and Somali citizens must ensure that they do not overstay their e-visa validity or the duration of stay permitted in Uganda. Apply for an Uganda e-visa today!
