How long can Guyanese citizens stay with a Uganda e-visa?

Since 2016, the Ugandan government has implemented an electronic visa (E-Visa), accessible to more than 170 eligible countries. This online application process can be completed in just 15 minutes, eliminating the need for lengthy queues at embassies and consulates. Uganda Immigration Services provides 3 types of e-visas for visitors:

  • Tourist e-visa: This visa is valid for three months from the date of issuance, allowing individuals to explore Uganda for leisure within 90 days.
  • Transit e-visa: Valid for three months; this visa allows a 7-day stay in Uganda for transit purposes.
  • East Africa e-visa: Designed for those who want to travel on multiple trips to Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya with a single visa. The East Africa tourist E-Visa is valid for a 90-day stay. This visa cannot be extended.
