Bermuda passport holders are subject to a visa requirement for entry into Uganda. In the past, visitors from Bermuda needed to apply for a paper visa at an embassy or consulate. However, with the establishment of electronic visas (e-visa) by the Ugandan government in 2016, traveling to Uganda has become more convenient and faster. Bermuda nationals can obtain a visa online for various purposes, including tourism and transit.
To complete an Uganda e-visa application, simply follow these steps:
- Step 1: Select “Apply Visa” and fill in the form with accurate personal information and passport details.
- Step 2: Ensure to double-check carefully for every piece of information you provide to avoid interruption during the process. Then, select your preferred payment method to pay the total e-visa fees.
- Step 3: Complete the application by submitting the supporting documents. Wait for the result and download the e-visa once you receive it via email.
Moreover, Bermudan applicants can track their e-visa process using the reference number, which will be included in the confirmation email. To track the e-visa, select “Check Status”.
