Do Somali Citizens Need Visas To Uganda?
Yes, Somali citizens require a visa to enter Uganda. There are two (02) ways for Somali passport holders to apply for an Uganda visa.
- Somali applicants can apply for a paper visa at a Ugandan embassy or consulate in Somalia or in nearby countries prior to their trip.
- Alternatively, Somali citizens can also apply for an electronic visa (e-visa) online through the Uganda Electronic Visa program (eVisa) system at the Uganda Immigration Services website.
It is strongly recommended that travelers obtain an electronic visa (e-visa) prior to their trip to avoid any potential delays or complications upon arrival. It eliminates the need to travel to the embassy or consulate, saving time and effort. Additionally, our online application system allows applicants to submit the required documents electronically, eliminating the need to submit physical copies or originals. This simplifies the documentation process and reduces the risk of documents getting lost or damaged.
