Uganda Immigration Services offers a straightforward, step-by-step guide on how to apply for a tourist e-visa to Uganda online. Please follow the instructions outlined below:

• Step 1: Select “Apply Visa”, then select the appropriate visa type based on the purpose of your trip (Tourist e-visa, East Africa e-visa, Transit e-visa).
• Step 2: Complete the online e-visa application form, providing your basic information, such as passport details, nationality, date of birth, and contact information. Make sure to double-check all information before submitting the form.
• Step 3: Proceed to make the e-visa fee payment using the designated payment methods available on the e-visa portal. Ensure you have a valid payment method and follow the provided instructions during the payment process.

Once submitted, the processing time generally ranges from 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email notification once your visa application is approved. To check the progress of your application, select “Check Status” and fill out a short form, the result will be available in a minute.
