What is the validity of the Uganda e-Visa for Norwegians?
Since 2016, Norwegian nationals have been able to travel to Uganda with an electronic visa issued by the Ugandan government. This increase in Norwegian tourists visiting Uganda is expected to have a positive impact on the nation's economy, as Uganda becomes a preferred destination for travelers seeking wildlife vacations.
Generally, the Uganda e-visa allows travelers to stay in the country for 90 days. However, depending on the purpose of your trip, applicants need to select the appropriate type of visa. Our service offers three e-visa solutions for travelers:
- Tourist e-Visa: This visa permits visitors to travel to Uganda for tourism and is valid for 90 days with a single entry.
- East Africa e-Visa: The East Africa e-visa allows travelers to visit Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda for up to 90 days. It grants multiple entries and cannot be extended. Learn more about East Africa tourist e-Visa here!
- Transit e-Visa: For travelers transiting through Uganda to another destination, transit e-visa allows a 7-day stay in Uganda but cannot be extended.
