Can a Lebanon citizen work in Uganda with an eVisa?

Lebanon citizens applying for a Uganda e-visa are NOT PERMITTED to work during their stay in Uganda. However, the scope of business activity allowed under the e-visa is limited.

Following the Uganda e-visa policies, holders are permitted to:

  • Attend business meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  • Visit friends, relatives, or family in Uganda.
  • Participate in educational programs.
  • Seek healthcare services.
  • Visit for tourism or holiday purposes.

Individuals planning to work in Uganda for an extended period or engage in other employment activities must obtain a work permit or an appropriate visa from Ugandan authorities.
