Are Afghan citizens eligible for a Uganda e-visa?
According to the official of the Uganda Immigration Department and the Uganda Electronic Visa/Permit System, Afghan citizens are eligible to apply for an e-Visa to Uganda. However, it's important to note that the e-visa requirements and regulations can change over time, so it's always best to check the latest information before beginning the application.
At present, Uganda Immigration Services offers the following e-visa types for tourism purposes:
- Tourist e-Visa: This tourist visa grants a single entry and a 90-day duration of stay in Uganda.
- East Africa e-Visa: For this visa, visitors are allowed to travel between Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for 90 days with multiple entries. This visa cannot be extended.
- Transit e-Visa: For this visa, travelers are allowed to remain in Uganda for a maximum of 07 days during the transition to their next destination.
