A face-to-face encounter with critically endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats is everyone’s dream. All travelers both men and women at all ages would surely prefer to spend some time with these endangered species who share over 98% of human genes hence the close relatives to human beings.

The celebrations were marked through touring all the city private and national museum sites with a call to administrators to embrace new approaches to attract the public based on this year’s international theme.

The Mabamba Bay Wetland found west of Entebbe, across Lake Victoria is a great spot for bird watching safaris in Uganda mainly because it is home to rare bird species like the Shoebill, Papyrus Yellow Warbler, Blue Swallow among others.

“Habari?” You might hear this friendly Swahili greeting on the streets of Entebbe or when you awake in the morning to join your guides in search of Uganda’s magnificent mountain gorillas. “What’s news?” they are asking. And in Uganda, the answer is, “Plenty.”
