What happens if Qatari citizens overstay their authorized duration on their e-visa?
Qatari individuals who exceed the approved duration on their Uganda e-visa may face potential repercussions such as fines, deportation, or even the possibility of being banned from future visits to the country. Depending on the length of the overstay, legal actions may be pursued in cases where the overstay exceeds 60 days. To prevent overstaying, Qatari nationals should check carefully the details of the expiration date on their e-visa before traveling to Uganda and make sure they depart the country before the expiration of their authorized stay.
If a Qatari citizen desires to extend their stay in Uganda beyond the stipulated period, they can initiate a visa extension application through the official Ugandan Embassy or Consulate. It's important to note that visa extension requests do not come with guaranteed approval, so it's advisable to refrain from submitting such requests on the final day of the initially granted visa duration.
